Lawn care, pet sitting, snow shoveling and other neighborhood jobs. A parent approves every application, and chats with employers stay inside the app.
The demo is filled with sample jobs, people and messages. None of them are real.
A teen can look at jobs right away, but can't apply for any of them until a parent is linked and agrees.
Teens 13–17 make a free account with their age, town and skills, then browse jobs near them.
The teen shares a code. A parent makes their own account, links to the teen and agrees to let them apply.
Every application waits for the parent. The employer only sees it after the parent taps Approve.
Teen and employer plan the job in TeenWork's chat. Pay is between them, and TeenWork doesn't take a cut.
Find jobs that fit your age, keep a log of your hours and earnings, and take short lessons on doing a job well.
Link to your teen, agree to let them apply, and approve or turn down each application from your own account.
Post a local job and hear from teens whose parents have approved the application.
What TeenWork checks, and what it doesn't. No app can make a job safe on its own, so parents stay involved at every step.
A linked parent has to agree before a teen can apply, then approve each application before the employer sees it.
Messages between teens and employers go through a word filter and AI checks first. AI can miss things, and if a check is down, messages still send after the word filter.
In any chat, it emails the teen's linked parent and the TeenWork team. It isn't an emergency line: if someone is in danger, call 911.
Applying checks the job's minimum age, jobs teens aren't allowed to do, and whether the teen's state needs a work permit. Employers still have to follow the law.
Employers sign up with an email and password. TeenWork doesn't verify who they are or run criminal background checks yet, so meet the employer first.
Real numbers only. No made-up ratings, reviews or user counts.
TeenWork started in Vermont. Anyone in the US can make an account, and the app knows each state's teen work-permit rules. Jobs only show up where local employers post them, so there may not be any near you yet.
TeenWork is new and in early access. We don't show a user count or a star rating until there are real ones worth showing. When there are, they'll appear here, counted live.
No public reviews yet. We'll only post reviews from real TeenWork users who say it's OK to show them.

TeenWork started in Vermont when our 13-year-old founder, Aya, couldn't find a safe way to get her first job. Every adult job site she tried had no parent oversight, no safety checks, and no way for a teenager to actually get hired. So she built one — and won Hack America 2026.
⭐ Pro is free during early access. Pro adds the AI resume builder, unlimited applications and more. No credit card needed.
